The band's two albums and their crowd pleasing live performances are testaments to their prominence .Annual performances at the area’s festivals and fairs give proof to their popularity. Founding band members Matt Poff (lead vocals, mandolin) and Bill Bagby (banjo) combined with the musical talent of Jim Gabehart (bass, harmony vocals), Linda Cochran Hamrick (fiddle, backup vocals) and Valerie Gabehart (guitar, lead & backup vocals) keep the progressive style we have been known for moving forward at full tilt.
With a deep bench of experienced songwriters, vocalists and instrumentalists, The Grass Stains have populated two CD’s with original songs and a spattering of Stained cover tunes.
